Literature
Translation of a piece of writing by Latin-American author from Spanish to English for a class assignment. Translating fiction requires idiomatic understanding and creative flexibility to interpret the author’s message and style into the target language. I chose “Doble Noche” by Argentinian writer José Lezama Lima for its use of magical realism.
